West Salem, Downtown Living with a Small Town Feel!

Music in the Park, September 18, 2005

A motorcycle wreck put New Dimensions' bass player inthe hospital, preventing the band from performing for us. But NEW BREED stepped in to save the day and Music in the Park went on without a hitch. West Salem residents danced the night away!

The crowd gathers as the band gets cranked up and neighbors are already dancing!
Left to right, Lee Gordon, bass guitarist, Olivia Martinez, backup vocalist, and James Braxton lead vocalist, entertain us.
James and Oliva croon to the crowd!
William "Murph" Murphy beats out the rhythm on the drums.
I think they are trying to decide whether or not to hit the dance "floor."
Looks like Judith Ruff, standing, can't stay seated much longer - the beat calls!
Lee, James, and Olivia
Tony Dove, heats up the keyboard.
Bobbie King and her sister Judith Ruff, along with other neighbors are enthralled by the music.

Amanda Kate Murray, foreground, checks out the band.
James belts out old school!
Olivia sings a solo.
"Murph" hams it up for the camera.
Kids on the playground.
Chillin' and listen'.
Dancing the night away!
Dewey and Ellen Yarborough,
still dancing after all these years!
Bobbie King and Bob Litaker enjoy the music.
Joann and John Reed watch their neighbors dance.
The band is very appreciated
Darryl Webb, listens to the band while decided whether to join the band
And the Beat and Dancing goes on!
Darryl joins the group with his lead guitar.
The night is almost over, but no one wants to stop!
