West
Salem, Downtown Living with a Small Town Feel!
Music
in the Park, June 7, 2004!
It
was a beautiful summer evening in Granville Park as West Salem
neighbors came together to enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs and
ole timey music provided by the West Salem Neighborhood Association.
Festivities were enjoyed until well after dark!
Left
to right, Dennis Wiggins, then president of the Association,
Sarah Carter, Dan Houston, and Ellen Hendrix, wait patiently
(?) for the hamburgers and hotdogs to be cooked.
Festooned
with red, white, and blue bows and pennants, the park pavillion
soon filled with neighbors food, and music!
Ole
timey music filled the air!
Lawn
chairs and blankets made for a perfect
summer evening in Granville Park
Neighborhood
children enjoyed the playground next to the pavillion before,
during, and after the food and music!
Brian
Carlton, West Salem Restoration, gave a hand at grilling more
hotdogs, while Dennis looks on.
Love
birds, Joann and John. They did all the decorating
of the park for the 2004 MIPs. THANK YOU BOTH!!
